The name “Nana's Kitchen” was inspired by my Grandmother Bessie G. Wilson who taught me how to cook with love

I've always loved to cook, and have catered events here and there. I was pushed out of my comfort zone by my Pastor, Brenda Carter, which I'm forever grateful for.

We started out doing small catering jobs until I was laid off of my job.  I then decided that I would start selling plates out of our home with the help of my husband, Tony Walker. From that point, God opened a door for us to begin serving breakfast and lunch daily at a local business downtown.  Later, we desired to get a small building just to sell lunch and dinner to-go, and in January of 2019, God fulfilled that dream. Not more than a year later, God continued to open doors for us, and Nana’s Kitchen became an official dine-in and carryout restaurant. And I must say, our business continues to grow with new customers daily.
